The first genetically engineered drug released in 1982

In the year 1982, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the public use of a genetically modified drug named human insulin (Humulin). Genentech and Eli Lilly & Company manufactured this medication.  The procedure involved injecting human genes accountable for insulin generation into E. An unprecedented service to society

Over the last ten years alone, more than 295 drugs have been released post-approval of the trials done by the Clinical Research Organization. These feats give tremendous hope to the patients suffering from disorders that were seen as incurable some time back. He found out that citrus fruits, specifically lemons, and oranges, were found to be the most successful in treating medical ailments.

Dr. Lind is regarded as the first medical professional to have undertaken a modern-day regulated clinical trial. After the physician started the famous medical testing process on May 20, 1747, that day began to be celebrated as International Day of Clinical Trials across the globe.

Physical and psychological well-being, and a decline in hospital stays.

Conquering Cancer

Successful Clinical trials of certain drugs have increased survival rates, especially in the case of childhood cancer. The survivability percentage of children with cancer has risen from a meager 10% in the 1950s to more than 80% in recent times. Clinical trials have entirely revamped the testing processes, making it more customized to target and handle each patient individually rather than the disorder as a whole.
